POSITION SUMMARY

The registered nurse provides nursing care to critical post cardiac and vascular surgical patients and demonstrates a thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways, team dynamics, hospital systems, and serves as a resource for Clinical Level I and support staff.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
2. 2 years Critical Care Experience with emphasis on Open Hearts and Vascular Surgeries.
3. Current RN Licensure or current
4. RN application with South Carolina Board of Nursing
5. BLS Required
6. ACLS Required (Must complete within the first 6 months of hire)
7. National Certification Preferred
